What a fun surprise in Lahaina!  Since we make candy, and use a lot of Guittard chocolate in Linders Fancy Toffee, we must explore chocolate businesses for new ideas and perhaps new products.  The Ku’ia Estates is a private cacao farm and chocolate factory.  The tour takes you to the cacao farm, and covers the entire process from fruit growth and harvesting to the tasting of 9 of their chocolates.  It was really interesting, the premium chocolate was delicious, and 100% of profits donated back to Maui community.

We are happy to announce a new product, Linders Fancy Toffee with hazelnut toppings.  It has a different taste that we think is excellent, and our product samplers have rendered it excellent also, so we are bringing it to you.   At Linders Fancy Toffee we are constantly experimenting with different chocolates and different nuts, searching for the perfect combinations that our customers and friends will find irresistible.   As with all of our toffee, the base includes chopped Blue Diamond dry roasted almonds.  We are offering the hazelnut topping with semi-sweet chocolate.  We hope you'll try it this season and share...

Linders Fancy Toffee was a big hit at the recent Taste of Fair Oaks, a fundraiser sponsored by the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce.  Among other great causes some of the proceeds (expected to be $30,000) went to local food banks.  There were 700 guests and vendors trying to keep all 700 happy with food, wine, beer, and delectable desserts.  Oh and of course Fancy Toffee and Toffee Pop.  Have you tried our toffee pop?  Instead of pouring the hot toffee mixture in a tray we pour it over popcorn and almonds.  It is quite tasty.   Some said, “Wow”!
